Analyzing Issues

In developing this video on digital copyright and file sharing, I used Adobe Spark, which contains a limited array of editing features. As such, I was unable to use a good variety of visual effects, forcing me to rely more on verbal content. Here, I developed visual and verbal communication skills as I discussed and clarified my topics.

I was assigned to create and edit a video essay that analyses and explains why a movie is one of the better examples of its genre. From my experience, I learned the importance of making appropriate transitions and not going over-the-top unless the situation calls for it. The process forced me to focus on ensuring that every part fit together and that there were no awkward pauses in the action. As I expand into other video production platforms, I hope to refine my skills in editing quality videos from multiple sources and meeting deadlines with work that I can be proud of.
